This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This school year I am moving to the primary grades and have to create new curriculum. I have a group of diverse students with various learning needs. Just starting out with this grade level coupled with the districts funding issues, I need some materials for my students.

Learning in my classroom is extremely differentiated for each individual students needs.

They learn in many different ways and supplies are needed to help support them in their learning. My students need a tactile, hands on curriculum that they can maneuver and learn the rules of reading.

My Project

These supplies will help me create individualized books for the students learning, file folder assignments for specific skills and provide tools for reading difficult texts.

My students will successfully learn content specific to their needs through the us of the individualized centers I will create with these materials.

The paper and stapler will allow me to print out reading texts at each students level, they will be able to interact with the text by using the post its. The file folders, velcro and laminate sheets will allow the creation of skill building specific for the students in my classroom. The pencils and expo markers will allow them to capture all of their learning.
