My Project

Kindergarten is a magical place where foundational skills are discovered. Throughout the year, I love watching students progress from learning how to form a letter to writing sentences by the years end! Their eagerness to learn and excitement to be able to write gives me hope to produce students who possess great literacy skills!

By providing my students with organized writing center areas, they will be able to practice their writing skills in engaging ways.

Materials like twistable pencils, mini pencils, and mini dry erase markers allow for more developmentally appropriate tools for little hands to use. Students enjoy being able to write in journals and illustrate about their writings. Having journals that provide space for illustrations as well as larger lines to accommodate emergent writers. These items will allow me to provide students with organized and engaging materials to promote successful writing habits.
