S-U-C-C-E-S-S that's the way you spell success. In my kindergarten classroom, I teach my kids to reach for the stars in order to succeed.
In order to succeed in my classroom, I need to have center materials ready and available. I am in a unique situation where I have students who just turned five in my room along with students who are about to turn seven. As you can imagine, this has made instructing kids challenging as many of my students are at completely different levels.
In order to instruct my new five year old's, and almost seven year old's appropriately, I need to do small group work. While I am working with a small group, the other students need to be learning and engaged also. This can be accomplished through learning centers. The kids LOVE centers, but I am lacking the materials to keep centers challenging and exciting for them. The centers that I am asking for will help me help my students by keeping ALL of my students engaged all of the time.
By helping to fund my project, you are ensuring the success of my students in both literacy and in math. The counting boxes will help my students learn to count and will boost their basic knowledge of number concepts. The literacy centers will help them to become better readers and spellers. By funding this project, you are helping to create a classroom full of successful, lifelong learners.
