My Project

As we begin a new school year, our literacy stations and centers will be changing. As second graders, we work on "soft skills" like organizing materials, cleaning up, and taking care of our materials. We need a storage cabinet that we can use to clean up and put materials away in an organized manner. Transition time impacts our daily schedule, and having storage cabinets to place literacy and STEM bins will keep our classroom tidy and neat.

Out of sight, but not out of mind!

Our core values of academics, community, pride, and justice allow us to advocate for all within this urban neighborhood by extending compassion and partnering with families to nurture lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and responsible citizens through STEM/STEAM, performing arts, visual arts, athletics, coding, computer science (CS), financial literacy, and mental health/social-emotional learning (SEL). We receive federal funding for programs that provide free breakfast/lunch for every student and Title I services to economically disadvantaged individuals. Our inclusive class serves military families, gifted/talented students, ESL/ELL students, special education students, and tech-savvy students.
