Center Seating

My Students

My class consists of 25 different personalities, learning styles, and abilities.

Though each student learns at different rates, they all work hard to succeed each day, no matter how difficult things get.

Many of the students have "holes" in their learning, and need to be caught up with certain concepts. These center seating stools will help those students immensely when I intervene and reteach those concepts that they are missing.

I teach in a title 1 school, so many of my students come from low income families.

My Project

There are 25 growing students in my classroom. With that being said, we don't have much room to get around. We are constantly tripping over chairs, running into tables, and maneuvering around things in the classroom to get around. These stools would be used to replace the chairs at my intervention table. They would not only be used daily by students who are struggling with a concept and need more one on one help, but they would also be used by students who need an extension activity. Since they are so small and compact, they would fit under my intervention table nicely without getting in the way.
