Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Second grade is such a wonderful year full of hands-on learning. My students spend a lot of time in centers practicing decoding and reading to learn. They come to school excited and ready to take on the day. In order to help my students be successful this year, there are materials they will need to use.
This project will help my students transition into a new year with fresh supplies and tools needed to be successful in both math and literacy stations!
The materials in this project will be used for our stations and help students be able to apply their knowledge in a hands-on way using poster paper, markers, pencils, Play-Doh, and much more! The TeachersPayTeachers gift card will be used to purchase center activities and games that are engaging and standards based that also match nicely with our curriculum. Students will delve deep into hands on sorting activities and games that they can manipulate in order to help them with the success of second grade content!
