My Project
The materials that I am requesting can help create a successful and fun center-opportunity for my young learners. I will be able to use the materials to create learning centers such as sand and water, home living, and block center.
Through centers, learners will be able to engage in hands- on activities at the touch of their fingers and use their imaginations to grow socially, emotionally and academically.
Having a home living center will allow my learners to have an area in my classroom where they can use their imaginations to become firefighters, chefs and store clerks. They will be able to dress up, cook and shop at the local market while having center materials to make their imaginations come to life.
Sand and Water center gives learners sensory play. Learners can play in the water with water toys, then switch to sand to play with sand toys. This center can be switched out to add different sensory opportunities for my young learners.
In block center my learners are able to use different materials to build cities with blocks, cars and the people in the town. This creates the love of building early in my learners.
