This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want my student's first experience in school to be filled with exciting memories. Reflecting back on my time in kindergarten I remember the excitement of the holidays. The classroom parties were something I really looked forward to. I want to give my students amazing memories like these as well. This project is filled with materials to celebrate Halloween, Valentine's Day, the 100th day of school, winter break, and end-of-the-year graduation.

The classroom celebrations could be the only time some of my students celebrate the holidays because many students who attend my school live in poverty.

Every child deserves the opportunity to experience the magic of celebrating an accomplishment or holiday with their classmates. With these materials I will complete classroom transformations, have gifts for the students, and we will do holiday crafts. Please help support my students in having these amazing experiences.
