My Project
Our classroom is full of bright, creative students from many different cultures and backgrounds. With your support, we hope to bring in multicultural art materials, like construction paper in a wide range of skin tones, paints, crayons, markers, and collage supplies, so students can express who they are and celebrate each other through meaningful art projects.
These materials will be used to support hands-on activities like:
-Self-portraits using skin-tone crayons and paper, helping students accurately and proudly represent themselves.
-Identity collages that include words and images from their cultures, families, and communities.
-Cultural celebration crafts, where students create art inspired by traditions, patterns, or symbols from around the world.
-Community murals that reflect the values and diversity of our classroom.
These projects do more than fill our walls with color, they help students feel seen, respected, and connected. When students create art that reflects who they are and where they come from, they build pride in their identities and appreciation for others.
With your help, we can provide the materials needed to make every child feel like they belong. Thank you for helping us build a classroom where all students can shine through creativity!
