Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Many of our children come from low-income households and do not have the experiences or means that allow them to use their imaginations and be creative. We want to provide a space for them that allows them to explore, experiment and have fun, all while developing important life skills that will lay the groundwork for future success.
My Project
We are creating a brand new Makerspace in our library media center! We are very excited to launch this new project but we need to supply it with hands-on activities that will allow our students to tap into their imaginations and think outside of the box! We want our students to celebrate their uniqueness through self-expression and creativity! The Cricut Maker will allow our students to work independently or in a group to create designs that show off and tell the world who they are and what their dreams and future goals are!
