Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Throughout the school year, the students make different projects for their parents/guardians/loved ones who take care of them. We celebrate the people in their lives that make a difference every day by giving them a student-made project. The students use chalk markers to write on flowerpots and grow flowers, learn the flower cycle, and give them to their loved ones. The students use frames for all sorts of occasions, Mother's Day, Father's Day, picture day, Valentine's Day, and end-of-the-year pictures. The students use mod podge, acrylic gloss paint, and keychains to make shrink-hand keychains, which is a wonderful keepsakes for parents.
