This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the holiday season approaches, I want to find a way to celebrate and encourage my hardworking dual-language kindergarten students. These young learners, from diverse backgrounds, have made remarkable progress this school year, demonstrating resilience and dedication.

In the spirit of the holidays, I plan to give each student a special Christmas gift to honor their hard work and achievements.

Giving them a tangible token of appreciation will help reinforce the values of perseverance, kindness, and dedication.

I have selected gifts to help my students develop their motor skills while having fun. Each student will receive mini whiteboards for writing and drawing, colorful putty for sensory engagement, mini coloring books for artistic expression, and vibrant slime for a tactile experience. My aim is to support their growth and make learning enjoyable.

The Christmas gifts will spread holiday cheer while reminding students of their achievements and hard work throughout the year. By receiving these gifts, students will feel valued, boosting their self-confidence and reinforcing the link between effort and reward. This gesture will help motivate them to continue their educational journey with enthusiasm and pride.
