This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love to have more books in my classroom library as well as books that I could share with other teachers at my school that focus on various identities families and being accepted with our true selves.

I believe that, as a teacher, we need to cultivate an environment where all students, no matter how they identify need to be welcomed, as well as the right to feel safe, heard, valued, and an important part of our community.

I hope that you will help me and my students bring this project to life so that we may create a more inclusive environment for all students.
