Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from richly diverse backgrounds and thrive when they see themselves reflected in the school environment. They are curious, passionate learners who feel most empowered when their cultures and identities are acknowledged and celebrated.
This project will provide banners, posters, and decorations for key Heritage and History Months—like Latinx Heritage Month, Black History Month, Arab Heritage Month, Women's History Month, LGBTQ+ Pride Month, and Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
These materials will be displayed throughout the school to honor and uplift our students’ identities year-round.
By creating inclusive displays, we’re promoting racial justice and representation for historically marginalized communities. These visuals send a powerful message: every student belongs, every culture matters, and diversity is a strength.
Your support will help us create a welcoming, affirming space that celebrates all students and fosters pride, understanding, and unity.
