Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Most of my students are English language learners. This project will impact language acquisition, overall academic success, and allows them to explore and celebrate diverse cultures. Decorating our classroom with diverse posters and flags will foster a welcoming and inclusive learning environment. The books will help the students understand and appreciate how diversity enhances our lives.

Celebrating diversity in the classroom promotes an inclusive environment where students feel valued and respected for their unique backgrounds.

Recess is essential for students to take a break and come back ready to learn. The peer interactions that occur during recess promotes social and emotional learning and development in children. Academic games are valuable tools that positively impact diversity and racial justice. They also promote student engagement, language acquisition, inclusion, and social-emotional development.
