Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school celebrates diversity. We accept people as they are. We want students to belong and be proud of their cultural traditions.

Our district encourages everyone to accept people as they are.

All people are welcome, all cultures, all genders, all beliefs, all religions, all orientations, all ages; all people are welcome. This project includes posters that celebrate diversity, a Keurig machine that makes hot chocolate, hot chocolate pods, disposable cups with lids, portable phone charges, and charging phone cables.

Our event will be great! We will showcase the posters in this project. The posters will be a visual with encouraging phrases that encourage people to accept people as they are. Giving students the opportunity to see these posters and talk about the importance of accepting others as they are will be great! Rewarding student participation with rewards that they like is a good way to get students involved. Our school gives students Positive Behavior Intervention Rewards for making good choices and being active participants in their learning.

The Keurig machine in this project will let us make hot chocolate in disposable cups. All the portable chargers and charging cables in this project will be given away to students as PBIS reward prizes. Displaying inspiring posters, giving out hot chocolate and cool PBIS reward prizes to promote accepting others will be wonderful! This project will be fun! Thank you for supporting my students' interest in being world changers and celebrating diversity.
