Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project aims to provide our students with books that reflect on our students experiences and celebrate diversity. It is so vital for students to be exposed to experiences similar and different from our own. A glimpse into someone else’s story can be integral in creating open and accepting minds and hearts.

The books listed will be used to create our 1st graders classroom library and provide students with stories that represent their lives and the world around them.

We aim to spark conversations to help our students become critical thinkers and embrace people from different walks of life. With your support, we can ensure our students read books that inspire them and encourage them to be readers for life!
