Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in my classroom come from a rainbow of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. I'm requesting books and educational toys that allow each child to be seen and reflected in our classroom materials. When students feel represented in their community they possess a greater sense of pride and self confidence, making them better learners and kinder friends.

My goal is to create an inclusive environment where all students feel welcome, respected and supported.

In addition to books and toys highlighting cultural diversity, I'm requesting soft seating on which they can enjoy their new materials!
