This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These books will continue to encourage an accepting and loving classroom that I strive to create. In my classroom, we celebrate what makes us unique. I read books on the carpet to them, then we discuss the story and share our connections. Then, the books are placed in our classroom library for the students to use.
Our classroom library is a place where my students love to spend time reading and looking at books.
Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. All of these books have been chosen to expose my students to a variety of cultures and inspire them to learn and celebrate everybody and their differences that make them unique.
