Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Overview: We believe in recognizing and celebrating the positive character traits our students demonstrate. Each month, teachers select students who exemplify one of our six character pillars: Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, Citizenship, and Trustworthiness. To honor these students, we would like to present them with medals as a tangible acknowledgment of their achievements.

My Students: Our students come from diverse backgrounds and face various challenges.

Despite these obstacles, they consistently strive to embody the values we teach. Recognizing their efforts with a medal will not only boost their self-esteem but also encourage them to continue demonstrating these important character traits.

My Project: We are seeking donations to purchase medals for our monthly character award winners. Each medal will represent one of the six character pillars and will be awarded during a special assembly. This small token of appreciation will serve as a lasting reminder of their positive behavior and the impact it has on our school community

Conclusion: By supporting this project, you will help us celebrate and reinforce the positive character traits that are essential for our students' success in school and in life. Your contribution will make a lasting impact on our students and our school community.
