Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students live in a low income, high poverty area. Many of my students have not been able to experience the fun and adventurous things the world has to provide.
My students have been working hard all year long to learn their ABCs.
Not only are they learning how to identify the letters in uppercase and lowercase form, but they also need to learn the sounds they make as well.
When we get to the end of the year, I would like to start an ABC countdown to the last day of school. I want to provide my students with fun and memorable things for each day to help them remember what they learned all year and to provide them with fun memories of the great year we had together.
