This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are amazing! They try their best and enjoy learning. Our school is a Title 1 school so it is important to help the students enjoy hands on activities as well as the day to day learning from books.

Supplies for activities to let the students learn about the holidays will help the children not only celebrate but encourage them to write about it.

We would also like to order ants for our gel kits to enable students to observe the ants, measure their tunnels and journal their progress. Learning about ants is a great way to learn about cooperation.
