Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year has been rough for my students. As adults, we have struggled with this pandemic.

My students missed out on so many memorable 3rd grade events and activities.

They will never get back our Adventureland trip (a local amusement park), Field Day, hands-on math and science activities (ex. Lucky Charms Fractions, life cycle of a plant Mother's Day Plant, organize data - Class Favorite Ice Pop Flavor-organize and generate data skill practice) making memory books, and simply socializing and bonding with classmates, other scholars, and teachers.

These items will help bring some joy to my students, many of which have suffered with sadness through loss of a loved one or friend.

My Project

I chose these items because I feel they would give my kids some positive experiences and a more healthy outlook on their life.

The beach balls, bubble wands and Frisbees will encourage use of my scholars health, fitness, and gross motor skills .The coloring packs will allow my students to have a healthy outlet of their artistic expression.

These activities will remind students how much fun they can make life be!

My students have been working hard all year and to celebrate their accomplishments of completing 3rd grade these gifts will remind them of how much they are loved all summer long.
