My Project

Kindergarten is often the first time a child steps into a school setting. My goal is to make students feel comfortable, connected and love school! We celebrate many things in kindergarten including their birthday and the kindergarten year as a whole.

Kindergarten is all about making lasting memories and lighting the fire for the love of learning.

To help build community we celebrate each child on their birthday. The donation for birthday bags, hats, pencils, bracelets, stickers, slinkies, and blowers will go toward creating birthday bags for each child in my classroom.

Each year I take a lot of pictures of students and complete monthly art projects that we hang in the hall or out in the window. The blank books will be used to create a kindergarten scrapbook of the year and will include the pictures I take each month and their hall/month art project.
