Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am in urgent need of a CD/cassette player for my classroom of 12 Severely Delayed Language special day class students. I would like to use the player to bring books alive through Books on tape/CD. My students read between the 1st to 3rd grade levels and have difficulty accessing the regular education curriculum. Books on tape/CD will allow them to listen to and discuss novels that the school population at large is listening to.
In addition to Books on tape, I would like to introduce the students to a greater variety of music. Studies have shown that classical music can feed your brain. I would love to play music in the background to help focus the students on their studies.
