My Project
I am currently teaching an awesome group of English as a second language ENL) children. They are extremely bright and hard working. The only thing is, they need much more exposure to the English language. This is where individual CD players would really be beneficial.
Imagine a child who is engrossed while listening to a book on a CD.
They will not only listen to the book, but also have a copy of the book in their hands. This activity would certainly boost language acquisition for my students. They will be exposed to both the written word and oral word at once.
The CD players will allow my children to concentrate on the stories they will be listening to. Hopefully, it will lead to discussions about these books.
