My Students

My students need common core aligned material. Our whole curriculum is changing and we need the materials!

My students are amazing, sweet and eager to learn.

They are inquisitive and have so much energy. Each of my students come from a very low socio-economic background. We have one of the highest rate of ELL's (English Language Learners) in the state and a high rate of special education students. Our school is 100% free breakfast, lunch and dinner if the student stays for the after school program.

My Project

Each day we have whole group and small group during our school day. We will use the questioning stems and close reading cards during independent work or small group. My students will be able to work on their own, with a partner or in a group. The connect and store bins will be for our non-fiction science books. The paper trays will be to store our paper that we use for writing. All of these supplies will help us with the common core state standards for ELA and writing.

Having the resources we need for the common core state standards are important.

We need to be able to have resources and these will help us achieve this goal. Thank you so much for your support!
