This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This live caterpillar kit will be an amazing science project for my students. My students love science and I know that this will be a project that I can involve them in and that requires a lot of participation but also patience from them.

My goal is to teach my students about the life cycle of a butterfly.

As a culmination of the project, we will be able to release the butterflies together. We plan to use the journals and notebooks to write down/ draw our observations about the caterpillars each day. The cleaning supplies are to clean up after the science project.
