Catching Up With The New Generation Of Learning & Technology
My students need a laptop with a hard cover, learning centers for differentiated instruction, and a nice place to sit(rug) and enjoy story time.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Diaz's classroom raised $996

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are eager to learn and love technology and working in cooperative groups! With the laptop, learning centers, and a carpet, the students will be able to work independently and use district wide programs to enhance and facilitate their learning as well as a nice place to enjoy reading.
I teach kindergarten in a K-8 center.
The students are in an inclusion model in which special needs children are mainstreamed. My students range from 5-6 years in age. My class has 18 students, 2 which are diagnosed with autism and 2 that are developmentally delayed. Since they are in kindergarten, they need technology to motivate them in learning the skills they need for their future. The students need a positive and hands on experience to enable them to remember the concepts easier.
My Project
The students will be able to use the carpet as a nice, clean area for story time. The laptop will help special needs students complete their classwork at their desk independently. These materials will help kindergarten students including students with disabilities grasp the learning concepts easier. The materials will facilitate in differentiated instruction and small group instruction.
The donations included are supplies for special needs students, one laptop with a hard shell cover, a carpet for story time, and centers for differentiated instruction.
I strongly believe that using these materials will help engage all types of learners. The students with disabilities will be able to participate in a regular classroom setting. These donations will encourage young learners and students with disabilities by facilitating their learning.
