My Students

My third grade students have demonstrated their resiliency time and again these past few years. Their first and second grade years were interrupted by the pandemic, and they are working so hard to catch up on important foundational skills in reading and math.

My Project

We continue to work hard through the challenges of the pandemic to catch our 3rd graders up on important foundational skills. Many of them missed significant instructional time in 1st and 2nd grade, which are such key years for building foundational skills in math and reading. There are a couple of simple tools that I have found for motivating students to learn their multiplication facts and to learn how to tell time. If we had class sets of these tools to help students practice, it would be so beneficial for them!
