My Project
I love to read, but lately I have realized that the books I purchase for my classroom library appeal mostly to my female readers. When I study my "check-out" data, it's mostly the female population in my class. I want to encourage all my readers in the classroom to pick-up a book!!!
I have to remedy this by paying attention to what all my populations in the classroom want to read, by reading all the books they are interested in so that I can make suggestions, and being able, through your generosity, to supply those books they want in my library.
The books on my list are all award winning books suggested as high interest for boys. Please help me feature during this new school year some choices that might encourage MORE reading in my classroom by ALL readers! :)
