My Project
I plan to stock our shelves with books and add engaging TPT materials to keep learning fun! These student love reading and I can hardly keep up with their voracious reading appetite; I love it!
There is nothing quite like a classroom full of students who are all lost in good books and engaging activities.
Being able to have rich and meaningful conversations with students about books that they are excited about is one of the best parts of this profession. I had the privilege of teaching kids how to read with 6 years teaching 1st graders the foundational skills. Now, being a third grade teacher, I have the honor of teaching them what they read. Having premade materials from TPT will save on prep time as I set up their library and it will allow me to shift more time towards extensions and supports to students as they read.
