I want my students to be fired up about learning this school year. What better way than to incorporate two Kindle Fires into our literacy and math center rotations.
I am a kindergarten teacher at a low-socio economic public school district in Oklahoma.
I have nineteen, five and six year old students in my regular education classroom. My students have very little experience with technology outside the classroom. My students are fueled with excitement every chance they get to use technology.
My Project
I will add the two Kindle Fires to my classroom literacy and math center rotations. My students will be able to practice newly learned literacy and math skills by using a variety of free Amazon apps. Anytime you give five and six year olds technology, learning instantly becomes more fun.
Our school district has been faced with a tremendous amount and state and federal cut backs this school year.
Without donors like you, my students would not get to experience learning the 21st Century way.
