Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are Primary PK-5th grade who live in a low income high risk environment. 100% of my students receive free breakfast and lunch everyday. All of my students love coming to school, but they don't have the support or resources at home to build upon their school day.

I give my students the skills they need to have a happy healthy life in hopes that they will take it with them wherever they go.

My Project

All students need clear instructions; using poly spots is he first step to help students understand where they need to be. Poly spots are great for games, dances and placements.

Using foam balls is the safest way to teach students how to catch and throw a ball.

Currently I use basic playground balls and basket balls to teach students how to catch and throw. The problem with that is those balls are larger and harder than a foam ball.

If I am funded for this project it will allow me to teach my students to catch and throw in a safer environment. And The poly spots are a great way for students to know where to sit or stand for every activity.
