My Students

Money is a part of a child's everyday life. Observing money habits from very young ages is sure to last a lifetime. Do you want to help our youth develop a strong financial literacy foundation? I know I sure do!

I teach 4th grade mathematics to students who are eager to gain an understanding in financial literacy.

My students love to learn about money and really focus on this topic. They can relate to money, but that doesn't mean that they have all of the necessary supplies to use in the classroom. For our school, having a tight budget to work with means that there is not a lot of extra money to replenish or purchase the helpful tools.

My Project

My students need the resources and games that will help in deepening their understanding of money. These items will provide both fun and learning for them. The games will focus on managing money by identification, collecting, saving, and spending a given allowance. The games and journals will also reinforce the objectives that students have learned in previous grades, as well as enrich their experience!

Your donation will also help in teaching the students valuable life skills that come with financial literacy.

It is one of the biggest factors of adult life and beginning at an early age can only lead great things. Thank you for taking the time to consider helping my students learn their math skills with this request for materials!
