This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help give my 32 students storage carts so they can have designated spots for their belongings. The storage carts will act as a mailbox system. Their name will be placed on the drawer and they can send and/or receive mail from classmates and teachers. Their personal and confidential items and papers will be placed in the drawers too.
A mailbox system will help students gain responsibility.
They must check their mailbox every morning and every afternoon. They must be able to locate their classmates' boxes and distribute papers. Giving students clear expectations and responsibilities will help integrate it into other classroom behaviors.
