This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
8th grade is a pivotal grade in which students are emerging in math skills that will allow them to become and feel successful. These invigorating students often tell me that they need more to make their learning engaging and meaningful.
My students are thoughtful, creative, amazing and full of personality.
Students at my school come from a wide variety of academic and social economic backgrounds.
My Project
COVID19 has affected the way my district is returning to school. In order to maintain the healthiest environment, students will stay in one classroom for the school day. Teachers will be rotating to each classroom to teach their subject area.
With COVID19 present, it's vital that students have access to lesson materials and their individual math supplies.
This cart will make it easier to transport supplies. Having to make several new changes, I am looking for ways to help our days run smoother while keeping all of us healthy and safe.
Additionally, I have Cerebral Palsy and this cart will lessen muscles from seizing and having spasms which can be quite painful.
Your donation will allow students to be safe and healthy in their classroom.
