My students are in a full time ICT second grade classroom. Many of my students come from low-income families. Several are English language learners. There are a few that come from single-parent (or single-grandparent) households.
All of my students are unique individuals who are always eager to learn and be engaged in exciting activities.
My diverse second graders come from a variety of backgrounds and have different needs and wants. All of my students are eager to learn with open minds, ready to be filled with knowledge.
Our class has become their second family. They are very energetic and enjoy working with each other, love projects, and strive to do their best all in all, they are a group of awesome kids!
My Project
Our class is in need of a class set of clipboards and dry erase pockets for when we work in groups on the rug. It is very hard when we are trying to get comfortable and we only have a soft folder to lean on. These clip boards will help us to work anywhere in the room especially when we gather for group projects in different areas of the room. These will be used to take notes and complete any work necessary.
We also want to bring our clip boards with us when we are investigating and collecting data for our science experiments.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
