This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A classroom rug is an important learning space and really the center of the classroom. Most of our learning takes place on the classroom rug. This rug will be new and inviting. It will provide a happy and safe place for my students. Carpet time supports learners' academic and social-emotional skills. On the classroom rug, students will start and end their day!

This rug will help students establish boundaries, find their own space, and assist with daily routines. It will provide a happy and safe place for my students.
