Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classroom, we spend a lot of time on the carpet in front of the room. My students sit there daily to listen to our read aloud, classroom discussions, math center time, and other times when I need to get on the same level with them for those special and important learning opportunities.
A cozy new carpet will allow my students to be comfortable during most of our daily learning activities.
If students feel comfortable, they will be more engaged and receive a beneficial learning experience. So much magic happens during our carpet time - it is our favorite learning spot because we are able learn together to collaborate, share and discuss.
