Flexible seating is important in preschool. Chairs can be hard to sit in and little bodies are not made to sit still for long periods of time. I would like to give my students the option to sit on the floor.
In order for my students to sit on the floor, they need defined spaces to know where their bodies need to be during group activities.
I'd like them to have the flexibility to put their circle on the floor and that's where they are going to sit. Giving the power for them to choose is important to give them control.
