This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our 5th-grade classroom, we believe that a clean space is a smart space! That’s why we’re asking for this special project called “Caring Classrooms” to help us collect personal care items and cleaning supplies that are essential for keeping our students healthy, confident, and focused on learning.

Throughout the school day, our students might need tissues, hand sanitizer, deodorant, or wipes.

Sometimes, little things like a bandage, lotion, or deodorant can make a big difference in a student’s comfort and self-esteem. We also use supplies like disinfecting wipes, and air fresheners to keep our room clean and welcoming for everyone.

When students feel clean and cared for, they are better able to concentrate, participate, and shine. Our goal is to build a space where all kids have what they need—not just pencils and books, but also the personal items that help them feel their best.

We are asking for support from our school community to help us gather these important items. Your donations or sponsorships will directly help our students have a happier, healthier, and more successful school year!
