This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting items to use in the classroom calm corner to support my 1st grade students. The plushies, timer, breathing exercises, and sensory balls will be used as tools to support social-emotional development. My students are in the early emotional stages of development and need a lot of support to learn how to control their emotions.

These tools will allow my students to be successful in the classroom.

With your help, I will be able to provide my students with the necessary resources they need to regulate their emotions.
