My Students
I have some super kinder-kiddos! They are bright, energetic, eager-to-learn, hands-on learners! We are constantly engaged in small groups, workstations, and real-life learning experiences. We move, we groove, and have fun learning!
My students come from many diverse backgrounds, but one thing remains absolutely the same, they are ready to learn!
My students come from a high-poverty area and have to work hard to overcome many challenges. They have learned to rise up to any challenge and conquer them through thinking, wondering, making choices, and doing. Thank you for considering helping my wonderful, curious, fantastic Kindergarten students!
My Project
When a child has the opportunity to imagine and engage in roleplaying as a doctor, a baker, a police officer, or a teacher, they are benefitting cognitively, physically, socially and emotionally through dress-up play. With the dress-up play costumes and accessories requested, students will be doing more than playing, they will be able to visualize what their futures could look like.
Dress-up play helps students build vocabulary, practice conflict resolutions and problem-solving, engage in real-world scenarios, teaches empathy, develops fine motor skills, and boosts their creativity and imaginations.
With South Carolina's College & Career Ready standards, students will begin with the end in mind by exploring a variety of careers in a creative way through dress-up and imaginative play.
