Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are preparing for life beyond high school through the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IB CP), a track that combines rigorous academics with real-world work experience. They are motivated, curious, and eager to explore professional pathways through internships, mentorships, and self-reflection.
To support their growth, I am requesting four key books: Work-Based Learning: Bridging Knowledge and Action in the Workplace, The Work-Based Learning Student Handbook, Personal and Professional Skills for the IB CP, and Transformational Work-Based Learning.
These resources will guide our curriculum, helping students develop the communication, reflection, and planning skills that are essential in today’s workplace.
These materials will empower students to take ownership of their career journeys, reflect meaningfully on their internships, and connect their classroom learning to real-world success. Your support helps equip future leaders with the tools they need to thrive personally and professionally.
