My students need English language Learning resources such as picture cards, vocabulary centers, writing centers, games, and graphic organizers.

My Students

My students are special because they are diverse learners who want to experience a fun and engaging education. They attend a community school where students live in close proximity. Our school is an early childhood center, located in an inner city neighborhood. We are a title I school where students receive free and reduced lunches. Many students are new to the country and have to adapt to the English language and American culture. "Relationships cannot grow without the proper communication".

My Project

The materials I am requesting will help our English Language Learners how to communicate in the classroom. The materials will give them a hand-on opportunity to interact in our classroom. The writing learning centers will help ENL students organize their thoughts and write in an organized way. The non-ENL students will also get the opportunity to improve their writing skills. The picture cards and vocabulary cards will give students that are learning the English language to see an image of the word in order to remember it. Both English speaking and Non-English speaking students will be able to use the resources.
