My Project

This is my second year as a School Counselor and 4th year at my school. One of the major needs I have noticed is access to essential care items throughout the school year, not just once or twice a year.

This project will give students access year round to toothbrushes, toothpaste, sanitary napkins, deodorant and non perishable food for weekends or breaks.

Our students have many adult responsibilities at home while their caregivers are working, meaning allowing students access to essential hygiene items will help their time at home tremendously. It will also give them confidence and autonomy when coming to school knowing that they had access to items to get ready for the day without worry of it ever running out.
