This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is located in Deep South Texas and most of my students come from a low socioeconomic status. Some of my students have never been in school or a daycare setting. It’s the beginning of their educational lives and sometimes requires a period of adjusting.

My Project

I would like to start a Care Closet at our school to help students with their health and hygenie. Some students may not have the proper items to stay clean. They may be embarrased to ask for items.

With these deodorants, toothbrushes and shampoos students will be able to stay healthy and clean.

This is a product that would require constant replacements of the materials that we receive which is why it is Part 1. I would have to continue to do projects to help fund this Care Closet.

These travel size mens and womens deodorants would help students to maintain good hygenie. The toothpaste will encourage students to brush their teeth to maintain them healthy. The shampoo and conditioner will make sure students have what they need to stay clean.
