Care Closet Essentials!

Help me give my students some classroom essentials. I work in a low income, special education resource setting where my kids need a lot of basic needs met (food, sensory, hygiene)!

My Project

Hi!

I am in my 5th year of teaching at a low income title one school.

I am a special education teacher for kids aging from K-2nd grade with varying abilities.

I implemented a care closet this past year where students could find essentials (snacks, hair products, hygiene products, & anything else they might). I've learned that if we can meet basic kids needs they are going to be able to learn a whole lot easier.. and my students deserve it!!

My students have loved the care closet and utilize it when they truly need it. That being said, we go through a lot of snacks and lotion/toothpaste so those are the highest needs this year.

I appreciate you taking the time to look over my list, and if nothing else please pray that my students have a great year with lots of learning, filled bellies, laughter & fun!!! Thank you!!!
