My students need tchoukball nets to maximize their cardiovascular fitness. The velcro gloves/paddles are perfect for my learning support classes to practice their overhand throws.
Our students in grades K-6 are in desperate need of PE equipment. These students are at a Title I school where supplies are very limited. We are looking for a tchoukball set so we can introduce a high speed, highly active international sport into our PE classes.
Students at my school lack a variety in sports.
Most of them focus on playing basketball or football because it is what they know, or see on TV. Introducing tchoukball will open their eyes to a different sport, country, and even culture! Plus they will be moving during every second of this fast paced game.
My Project
The tchoukball set will help my students increase their cardiovascular fitness. This is a fast paced game with little break time so they will be constantly moving. We have no playground equipment, and this game can be taken outdoors to enjoy during recess as well. The gloves and paddles will help my learning support classes work on their overhand throw. The velcro will ensure their success while learning and improve their confidence.
Tchoukball will help introduce my students to more diversity in the sports world!
This game is from another country and none of the will have ever played before. The velcro gloves will be a great introduction to over hand throwing and a get stepping stone to baseball games in the spring.
